Crystal Palace Come From Behind to Beat Oliver Glasner's Nottingham Forest 3-1 on His Selhurst Park Return
Dan Ndoye had Forest ahead inside three minutes, but Daichi Kamada, Jefferson Lerma and Yeremy Pino turned it into a 3-1 Crystal Palace win — and the club's first league victory over Forest in 14 years, on the afternoon their former manager Oliver Glasner came back to Selhurst Park.
Oliver Glasner got his warm applause before kick-off, recognition for the trophies he delivered at Crystal Palace before leaving for Nottingham Forest in the summer. What followed for the next 90 minutes was less friendly. Dan Ndoye put Forest ahead inside three minutes, and by full time the home end was chanting about his old club beating him instead.
Three goals in 18 minutes turn it around
Pierre Sage's side needed until the 41st minute to find a way back, Daichi Kamada levelling it at 1-1. Jefferson Lerma headed Palace into the lead in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time, and Yeremy Pino made it 3-1 in the 59th, turning a nervy afternoon into a result Selhurst Park will remember for more than just the three points.

An ending 14 years in the making
The result ends Crystal Palace's 14-year wait for a league win over Nottingham Forest. It came, of all afternoons, against the manager who delivered the club's recent trophies before leaving for Forest in the summer — his first game back at Selhurst Park since the move.
Palace climb, Forest's slide continues
Palace move to 7 points and 12th in the table. Sunday's win is only their second in six league games, after defeats to Everton and Manchester City, a 3-2 win away at Fulham, a defeat at home to Ipswich Town and a goalless draw at Leeds United — a season so far defined by one result at a time rather than any run.
Forest drop to 14th on 5 points, their third defeat in six league games. Their five games before Sunday had brought a home defeat to Leeds United, draws with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, a 2-1 win away at Aston Villa and a home defeat to Coventry City — one win in five, now one in six. Dan Ndoye's early goal was not enough to arrest a season that has now produced only five goals in six matches.
