About Guriball

Guriball is an independent blog built by people who love football. Our goal is to deliver clear, honest, analytical coverage of the game — with the rigor of a newsroom and the heart of a fan.

What you'll find here

Match reports: the games we cover in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and Champions League, with the goals, line-ups, stats and what the result changes in the table — start at International Football.

Tables and stats: the standings of every league, plus attack and defence rankings, top scorers and assist leaders, checked against the official figures after each round — for example the Premier League table and its stats page.

Data studies and legends: long-run numbers on goals, draws, home advantage and the second half of the season in Stats, and career profiles of the players who defined the game in Legends.

Super Cups and the World Cup archive: the season-opening trophies live in Super Cups, and our coverage of the 2026 World Cup and the historic games that defined the tournament stays online in the World Cup archive.

How we work

Report with passion and rigor. Every analysis is grounded in facts checked against reference sources, numbers and historical context — when we're not sure about a stat, it stays out. The photographs we use are freely licensed (Creative Commons and public domain), always with the author credited alongside the image. And in the name of transparency: some articles contain affiliate links, which help keep the site running at no cost to you.
