Aubameyang salvages a point as Deportivo stay unbeaten at Getafe

Getafe and Deportivo La Coruña shared the points in a 1-1 draw at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Sunday. Ramón Terrats broke the deadlock for the home side in the 66th minute, finishing low into the far corner after Djené's tackle sprung a quick transition and Azón slipped him into the box. Deportivo answered twelve minutes later, Yeremay whipping in a cross from the right that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang met with a firm, downward header for 1-1.

Deportivo's unbeaten start continues

The point stretches Deportivo's run without defeat to five league matches this season — two draws either side of back-to-back wins over Valencia and Villarreal. Before this round they sat 6th on 8 points from four games, occupying the Europa League qualification spot that LaLiga's improved coefficient earns the division this season; the draw takes them to 9 points from five matches, still inside that bracket.
