Antonio Raimondo's hat-trick fires Frosinone to a 4-2 win over Sassuolo
Antonio Raimondo scored three times in 31 minutes as Frosinone beat Sassuolo 4-2 at the Benito Stirpe, climbing to 4th in Serie A on 13 points.
Giacomo Calo opened the scoring after nine minutes, and by the time Antonio Raimondo completed his hat-trick in the 57th minute, Frosinone were out of sight. Domenico Berardi and Kristian Thorstvedt pulled two back for Sassuolo either side of Raimondo's second, but the visitors never got closer than two goals, and the game finished 4-2.
Raimondo's goals came in the 26th, 30th and 57th minutes — three strikes inside 31 minutes of game time that turned a tight opening into a rout. It is the kind of individual performance that does not come along often in Serie A's bottom half, and it was enough on its own to outscore anything Sassuolo could produce in reply.
Frosinone's form holds up
Frosinone had won three of their previous five league matches going into this one — wins over Fiorentina, Venezia and Como, a draw at Genoa, and a 3-0 defeat away at Napoli on the last matchday. This result answers that Napoli defeat in the most emphatic way available: four goals at home, a fourth league win in seven games, and a climb to 4th in Serie A on 13 points, their highest position of the season so far.
Sassuolo, by contrast, had been unbeaten in three of their previous five — a win over Juventus, a draw with AC Milan, sandwiched around a loss at Monza — before this trip to Frosinone undid that momentum. They drop to 11th on eight points, with a goal difference now in negative territory for the first time this season.

What's next
Frosinone are 4th on 13 points, level with Cagliari but ahead on goal difference, and inside the Champions League places for now. Sassuolo stay 11th on eight points and will look to Kristian Thorstvedt and Domenico Berardi again to get their attack firing after this setback.
