Betis dominated the first 45 minutes on the ball, with 57% possession, and were rewarded when Cucho Hernández converted in the 43rd minute. Betis stay third, Deportivo climb into the Conference League zone
The draw halts Real Betis' winning run at four but does little damage to their season: they stay third on 16 points from seven matches, level with second-placed Atlético Madrid and only five behind leaders Barcelona, with a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions since their matchday-3 defeat to Levante.
