Roma stay unbeaten with a goalless draw at Como
Como and Roma shared a 0-0 draw at the Sinigaglia, the first scoreless result of Roma's season but not enough to end their unbeaten start to the Serie A campaign.
Roma's unbeaten Serie A start stayed intact at the Sinigaglia, even if the goals did not come. A 0-0 draw with Como was the first time this season Roma failed to score in the league, and they remain unbeaten six matchdays into the campaign.
Roma's unbeaten start
| Opponent | Competition | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Fiorentina | Serie A | W 4-0 |
| Lecce | Serie A | W 4-0 |
| Atalanta | Serie A | W 2-1 |
| Torino | Serie A | W 2-0 |
| Inter | Serie A | D 2-2 |
| Como | Serie A | D 0-0 |
That run includes two draws in the last two matchdays after four straight wins to open the season, but Roma have yet to lose a Serie A match this term. Como, for their part, arrived off the back of a 2-0 defeat at Frosinone that had snapped a three-match winning streak, so the draw at least ends their own losing run — even without a goal.
What the result changes
The draw takes Roma to 14 points from six matches, 3rd in Serie A behind Inter and Lazio, who are both on 16. Como climb to 11 points and are 7th, level on points with Juventus in 6th, who have the better goal difference.
Corrections
- October 12, 2026: The earlier version said Roma had moved into second place above Lazio and that Como were 6th, and called Roma's record perfect. Roma are 3rd, Como are 7th, and Roma drew with Inter earlier in the season. The next fixtures we had named could not be confirmed and were removed.
