Schade headed Brentford ahead in the 34th minute, only for Justin Kluivert to level four minutes before the break. Marcus Tavernier put Bournemouth in front for the first time eight minutes into the second half — his third goal of the season — before Schade struck again in the 56th minute to complete his double and restore parity for good.
