Jonathan David scores again as Atlético Madrid rout Osasuna 4-0

Atlético Madrid breezed to a 4-0 win over Osasuna at the Metropolitano, controlling the whole match and scoring in every phase of it. Jonathan David opened the scoring in the 24th minute, working a quick exchange with Alejandro Grimaldo and Johnny Cardoso before finishing at the second attempt after Aitor Fernández's initial save.

The second half was more of the same. Combination play between Álex Baena and Ademola Lookman stretched Osasuna's back line in the 54th minute and David squared for Lee Kang-In to finish, and Robin Le Normand added a third from the resulting corner in the 63rd minute. Baena rounded off the scoring eight minutes from time, sweeping in Cardoso's pass for 4-0.

Osasuna, who had taken 7 points from their first five games, remain there after a first defeat in three, a stress-free workout for the hosts three days before the Madrid derby against Real Madrid.
